Important notices regarding reverse mortgage products and this website.
Not a government agency
This material is not from HUD or FHA and was not approved by HUD or any government agency. Chasewood Financial is not affiliated with any government agency.
Borrower obligations
Reverse mortgage borrowers must continue to pay property taxes and homeowners insurance, maintain the property, and comply with all loan terms. Failure to meet these obligations may result in the loan becoming due and payable.
Loan repayment
A reverse mortgage loan balance grows over time as interest and fees accrue, which reduces the equity remaining in the home. The loan generally becomes due and payable when the last surviving borrower sells the home, permanently moves out, or passes away.
Counseling requirement
HECM applicants are required to complete independent counseling with a HUD-approved counseling agency before proceeding. Counseling requirements for proprietary programs vary by lender.
Estimates and program limits
Any figures shown on this website, including high-balance HECM references, are illustrative and subject to eligibility, qualification, current program limits, and lender guidelines. No specific loan amount is promised or guaranteed.
Equal opportunity
Chasewood Financial supports equal housing opportunity and does not discriminate on any basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.
