While my intention was to write an autobiography of my simple life as a way to documents the legacy of the Hughes-Warren, Davis linage and history for my Children, Grand Children, Great Great Grand Children and how I faired over the last ninety years of my life, I did not realize the depth of emotions, love, trauma, denial, brutality, treachery and murder that exists in our society called democracy. This documented history of treatment of God's creation is a testament to the greatness of lives past, present, and potential future. The thought that writing can be cathartic is an under-statement. Putting the spotlight on the history of mankind from the so-called discovery of America is a journey each of us should undertake to help us come to grips with how each of us is impacted by higher-ups is a journey of its own.
From the decisions of President Andrew Jackson to forcibly remove anation of indigenous person to a land unknown to them in the early 1800s is story every child should be informed of. The "Trail(s) of Tears" impacts us to this very day in some way or another. Thus, this is the story of one family's legacy. Hughes-Warren's and Davis's- Jones's are a part of this history. I invite the readers to travel with me as I revisit my memory bank of these families' lives. The story is your guide presented in outline form in ten-year increment which carries its own Lineage Chart and Family Tree branch, thanks to the prior works of Elka Stevens, PhD (HBCU) Professor at Howard University, Washington D.C.
The forgoing paragraph is just the beginning of the life of one Spirit's World of a Soul known as GOD's manifestation of Adolphus Davis, in the image of the likeness of the creator. This journey for me begins much earlier and perhaps before the lives of the Greek Philosophers of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle in their discussions of "Plato's Republic", leading to the discovery of my DNA through my Choctaw Grand Mother, the third daughter behind Laura and Lethia of Ira and Jennie Hughes of Crossett, Arkansas. The question of who GODs father was ask of my Grand Mother? Her response has led me to research and find answer to inquiries not only who was who, but search and find an understanding of the true nature of THE SPIRIT of GOD's creation of a Heavenly Emissary of all the non-physical world that bridges the gap to the understanding of the nature of the HUMAN SOUL in the physical world where Cosmic Laws by which Homo sapiens are too achieve everlasting life in the pursuit of a seat at the table with GOD.
