A lawyer, engineer, and policy expert, Lee Tiedrich helps organizations unlock innovation and manage risks in an increasingly complex, regulated, and litigious world, drawing on decades of experience at the forefront of emerging technology. Lee understands global markets, technology, and regulatory dynamics and has led one of the first AmLaw 50 Artificial Intelligence (AI) practices, enabling companies to navigate legal change and develop and successfully commercialize trusted AI, data, and other business objectives across industries.
A widely recognized global leader, Lee Tiedrich serve in the AI expert groups of the OECD and GPAI and leads cutting-edge international AI initiatives on AI and climate and responsible AI data and model sharing. G7 leaders have called upon the OECD and GPAI to help address pressing AI challenges.
Lee applies her experience and knowledge to lead organizations with AI and data-driven businesses. She chaired the Strategy Committee of the Duke Engineering School Board of Visitors and served on the Duke Women’s Impact Network Leadership Council before joining the faculty. She frequently presents and consults to industry, governments, and other global leaders, including at prominent North American, European, and Asian venues.
