My 10-Point Coaching Framework

1.

Get brutally honest about your current reality.

We'll take a deep-dive inventory of your life—all of it. Not just the highlight reel you show everyone else. Until you're clear about what's working and what's not, you're spinning in an unhelpful cycle.

2.

Ask the questions that actually matter.

I'm going to dig into what's been eating at your core, not just the surface-level complaints. A better question leads to a more workable solution.

3.

Realign your life purpose.

We'll identify your life-defining values—not what you think you should care about, according to everyone else. Then we'll see how far off course you've drifted and realign all aspects of your life with your felt purpose.

4.

Tap your strengths, mitigate weaknesses.

For many of us it’s super easy to hang out on what we’re not good at. You've got natural talents you're likely underutilizing or maybe are even unaware of. We'll figure out what these are and how to leverage them.

5.

Take care of your internal, spiritual self.

My years of following the way of Christ inherently shapes how I approach my work, yet without platitudinal quotes from the scriptures. I will challenge you to make changes in your inner being which will ripple out and influence the rest of your life.

6.

Apply tools that work.

I use current evidence-based materials from Positive Psychology, ACT and productivity models culled from years of working with clients. Remember, this isn't therapy—it's building the life you want, using stuff that works.

7.

Look at each area of your life, not just your career.

You might be clicking along well with your job. But maybe it's your health that's shot, or maybe you haven't had a real conversation with your wife or kids in months. We'll find the areas lacking attention and beef them up with actionable behaviors.

8.

Accept what you can't control and change what you can.

Some things are just not going to change. We'll identify these so you can stop wasting energy and focus on what you can actually improve.

9.

Establish your non-negotiables

Based on what we learn from your values, we'll create guidelines for future decision making. Think of these parameters as guardrails that veer you away from just getting by and keep you focused on what matters most.

10.

Cut through the noise and nonsense.

I've been helping people for over 20 years. You and I don’t have time to mess around. I will keep you moving, continually checking in with you and your report of progress. Every session ends with tangible action steps to be completed before your next appointment.

My Coaching Approach

I don't believe in six-week transformations or cookie-cutter solutions. It took you all this time to get here. Real change takes time, and it's rarely linear. My job is to help you get clear on what's not working, what really matters, and what you're going to do about it.

Think of this as coaching with therapeutic backbone. We’re not going to spend years digging into your childhood, but my background means I can hear what’s often left unsaid. The goal isn’t to fix you (you’re not broken); it's to help you realign with what gives you energy and purpose, and take concrete steps to make that your reality. We form a partnership to get you to where you want to be.

We'll look at your life holistically—work, relationships, health, spirituality, purpose. Not because each area needs to be fixed, but because it’s all connected.

This isn't therapy and it's deeper than most coaching. We're not just setting goals; we're examining whether your current life actually aligns with who you are and who you want to become.
