The Stable

Our second romantic cottage, called the Stable, is a scaled down version of the large dairy barn used when the property was a working dairy farm. The Stable features a king bed, air jet spa tub for two, entertainment center, kitchenette, and a breakfast table in front of the patio door. Guests have the choice of eating indoors or enjoying the breakfast café table and chairs on the Stables private deck, weather permitting, of course. Depending on the season, Chiques Creek is visible through the trees. The Stable has a cathedral ceiling with exposed hand-hewn oak beams and a stone gas log fireplace that stretches to the ceiling. One end wall consists totally of glass looking out over the horse meadow. For your comfort, the Stable includes ceiling fans, baseboard heat and central a/c. A luggage rack, robes, pillows, blankets and ironing board w/iron can be found in the guest closet. Just IMAGINE a snowy evening with the fireplace burning and blinds pulled back, listening to the quiet and watching the snow dance in the glow of the outdoor floodlights. It's purely magical!
